The WhatsApp number
Two different jobs. Asking questions is set up first. Sending data in is added when you're ready, and only ever writes to your sheet after you approve the exact change.

- Anyone you approve can message it. Your site supervisor does not need a login or an email address.

How your data is handled
Read-only by default. Nothing is written without your yes.
Pro reaches your numbers three ways — a dashboard, a 9am email, and a WhatsApp number — and every one of them only reads your sheet. When you are ready for staff to send figures in, Opsboard still never changes anything on its own. It shows you the exact entry and waits for you to approve it.
- Everything reads; nothing writes until you ask for it. The dashboard, the email and the WhatsApp answers all leave your sheet untouched.
- Before any change, you see it. A plain confirmation — "add this to your sheet?" — with the exact figures, and a yes or no.
- One-tap undo. Any entry you approve can be reversed in a single tap, so a mistake is never permanent.
- Set up with you. The WhatsApp number and staff data-entry are switched on with you during onboarding, at a pace you are comfortable with.

Questions
What people ask about Pro.
Do my staff need to install anything?
No. The dashboard opens in the browser that is already on the phone, and WhatsApp is already on the phone too. There is no app to download, no username and no password for your staff to forget. That is the main reason we chose WhatsApp instead of building our own app.
What happens if the WhatsApp reply gets a number wrong?
While it is only answering questions, the worst case is that it tells you something incorrect and you check the dashboard. Once it can also send figures into your sheet, the risk is different, which is why that part comes last. Nothing will be written into your sheet without you seeing it first and being able to undo it.
Is my data safe if it is going through WhatsApp?
The numbers still live in your sheet. WhatsApp is only the way you ask for them, in the same way a phone call would be. We never ask for your bank, Tally or accounting logins, and that does not change with Pro.
Can I start with the email and add WhatsApp later?
Yes, and most people should. The 9am email is the piece that changes a morning routine the most for the least effort. Add the WhatsApp number once your team is used to the email arriving.
What does Pro cost?
It depends on how many dashboards you run and how much of Pro you actually want, so we quote it per business rather than publishing a number that would be wrong for most people. Message us on WhatsApp and you will get a straight answer on the first call.
What if I want the dashboard and nothing else?
Then take standard Opsboard. It is finished, it works, and you can move to Pro later without rebuilding anything. Nothing on this page replaces it.
